IN THE NEWS Sirote & Permutt Hosts Seminar on REO Legal Issues The law firm of Sirote & Permutt, PC, recently hosted its eighth annual REO Real Estate Legal Issues seminar for Alabama Realtors who represent the firm's mortgage servicing clients. Sirote attorneys Jeff G. Underwood, Greggory M. Deitsch, and Caroline E. Walker spoke at the half-day seminar. Topics included Alabama law as it relates to REO closings, title issues, manufactured housing, and evictions. "It is a pleasure to host our annual seminar for the Realtors who work with our mortgage banking clients," said Jerry E. Held, chair of the law firm's mortgage banking practice group. "It's a great opportunity to interact with the Realtors, answer questions, and learn more about the industry."
