MICHAEL FEDER is president and CEO of Radar Logic Inc., a data analytic company that enables the creation of financial derivatives on otherwise non-tradable asset classes. The company's initial products are based on real estate values and have enabled the creation of futures on real estate, which are now available on the CBOE Futures Exchange. Feder has spent more than 30 years in the financial services industry. He's held senior-level management positions at the Chase Manhattan Bank, the First Boston Corporation, and Credit Suisse First Boston. Prior to joining Radar Logic in 2005, he served as CEO of the Feder Group, a private investment banking advisory firm. 4 CHUCK GREEN is an Atlantabased freelance writer. He has more than 30 years' experience as a researcher, editor, and journalist. He reports on various aspects of business, finance, real estate, sustainability, and healthcare, offering expertise for B2B trades, consumer dailies and monthly journals, and intra- and inter-company communications. He holds a Ph.D. in government from the University of Virginia. SANDRA LANE has extensive experience covering the default servicing industry. She contributed regularly to DS News' predecessor, REO Magazine, from 2004 to 2006, covering local market trends, the effects of macroeconomic shifts on market conditions, and "big-picture" analyses of industry-driving indicators.
