The Dallas-based servicer said it believes its own growth is evidence of the rising need for special servicers. Steven Horne, Wingspan CEO and president, explained how the company set itself apart when first formed. "When Wingspan was founded in 2008, we had a good idea of the range of services we would be asked to provide, so we built flexible infrastructure and systems to allow rapid growth," Horne said. "This ability to continually adapt to our clients' needs and provide a wide range of strategic services to assist in every aspect of loan servicing has allowed us to substantially expand our footprint." —DSNews.com September 7, 2012 Mortgage Servicer Wingspan Portfolio Advisors Makes Mark in Frisco It's been only four years since Wingspan Portfolio Advisors LLC took flight. In that time, the Carrollton-based residential mortgage servicing company has seen rapid growth in its business. Revenue is up more than 400 percent since December, and the company plans to finish out the year by hiring another 500 employees, bringing employment to 2,000. With that expansion, Wingspan has subleased a 125,000-square-foot building, the last large remaining office vacancy in Frisco.
