NEVADA Simplifile Powers E-recording in Nevada Simplifile, a provider of real estate docu- ment collaboration and recording technologies for lenders, settlement agents, and counties announced that Mineral County in Nevada has adopted its e-recording service. With this addition, Nevada has become the ninth state in the Simplifile network to implement e-recording across the state. "Simplifile welcomes Nevada to the growing roster of states that have embraced e-recording throughout all of their recording jurisdictions," said Paul Clifford, President, Simplifile. "While e-recording is available in most major metropolitan areas, jurisdictions of all sizes can benefit tremendously from the efficiency and cost-savings e-recording provides. In 2007, Carson City County became the first Nevada county to join Simplifile's e-recording network. With the addition of Mineral County, all 17 Nevada counties now e-record with Simplifile. Using Simplifile's e-recording platform, recording offices throughout the state are able to electronically receive, stamp, record and return documents within minutes, which reduces documentation and processing errors. Settlement agents can also submit record- ing fees and other recording-related expenses directly through the Simplifile system, thus eliminating check-writing expenses. More than 1,887 jurisdictions nationwide e-record with Simplifile, making it the larg- est e-recording network in the U.S. Nevada joins Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Massachusetts, and Oregon in offering e-recording statewide through Simplifile. e company was founded in 2000 to con- nect settlement agents and county recorders via its e-recording service. Today, Simplifile has broadened its services to include collabora- tion tools and post-closing visibility for mort- gage lenders and settlement agents working together on real estate documents. Vendorly Collaborates with Shared Assessments Vendorly, an oversight platform for financial institutions has announced a collaboration with Santa Fe, New Mexico- based Shared Assessments, a third-party risk management company, to license the Standardized Information Gathering (SIG) Questionnaire. is questionnaire is available for Vendorly customers to access the industry- standard list of questions based on the risk profile of their vendor engagement.
