VRM Mortgage Services recently launched a concept they say will mitigate community blight, help stabilize neighborhoods, and support veterans, all while increasing business opportunities for companies of varying sizes that vie for their share of the multi-trillion- dollar mortgage and financial services industry. e new initiative, named the VRM Real Estate Alliance (VRMREA), is a community of companies working in partnership to deliver services and collaborate on philanthropic endeavors. Keith Murray, President and CEO of VRMREA, believes business and philanthropy go hand-in-hand. "Properties sitting unoccupied cause blight," Murray said. e solution, according to Murray, is robust but simple. "From valuing markets correctly, to developing the best disposition strategy, loan servicing, property preservation, and even training and networking for real estate professionals, the approach is full service, yet focused on the specific needs of the clients," Murray said. "is Alliance approach galvanizes professionals from different specialties to engage in their business offerings, as well as more efficiently allowing properties to become occupied. is ultimately leads right back to a passion of mine—addressing blight and restoring neighborhoods," Murray said. Among the full-scale offerings of the VRMREA, Murray found the training and networking components to be particularly popular. Combining professional training with a commitment to doing good, an Alliance partner serves as the main sponsor of the Council for Inclusion in Financial Services (CIFS) and its marquee event, the National Financial Services Expo. CIFS is a non-profit organization committed to financial literacy and educating financial professionals on the economic benefits of diversity and inclusion. CIFS' ird National Financial Services Expo will be held June 4-5 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. When describing the VRM Real Estate Alliance's benefits for both the community and business partners, Murray said that the communities' concerns are built into all of VRMREA's processes, while also addressing the business needs of the Alliance's clients. e VRM Real Estate Alliance includes Murray's family of companies, with a 35-year industry track record, including: PCV Murcor, VRM Mortgage Services, Hightide Settlement Services, and Vendor Resource Management Investor Insurance. Key partner companies complete the VRMREA structure. Sharing both her excitement and vision for co-leading the alliance effort, Cheryl Travis- Johnson, EVP and COO of VRM, said, "is platform allows us to cost-effectively leverage the core competencies of the alliance partners to deliver the best possible solution to any industry pain point." "is Alliance approach galvanizes professionals from different specialties to engage in their business offerings, as well as more efficiently allowing properties to become occupied. is ultimately leads right back to a passion of mine—addressing blight and restoring neighborhoods." —Keith Murray, President and CEO of the VRM Real Estate Alliance
