GOVERNMENT DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY GISELE ROGET LEAVES HUD Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Single-Family Housing Gisele Roget announced her departure from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She is taking over as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of External Relations at the National Credit Union Administration. In this role, she will also oversee the Office of External Affairs and Communications and lead the agency's communications and congressional affairs initiatives. Cherry will be responsible for the review of Gateway's loan portfolio on a continuing basis to guide risk-appropriate growth, assist in the detection of deterioration in loan quality, and review the portfolio to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. In this position, he is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of Flagstar's broker and correspondent channels. Gibson brings more than 25 years' experience in the mortgage industry to Flagstar, covering both wholesale and retail lending, as well as hiring, training, origination, and servicing.
