REO: The Next Chicken Little? There are two camps with differing opinions on the state of the REO market: One insists the end is near for REOs, while the other maintains REOs are here to stay—for a while at least. Is the sky falling for REO? With Rochelle Jones and Dave Larsen « C O N T Rochelle Jones has been a licensed agent since 2006 and is a member of the Keller Williams Greater Northwest Houston team. Prior to her career in real estate, she served as a performance solutions manager and corporate trainer in the telecommunications field. She utilized her past experience to help REO brokers streamline and develop productive teams. This ultimately led to her building her own REO team, which now serves more than 10 clients and is dedicated to offering a "one stop shop" for all real estate transactions. She is also a housing advocate, providing training and education to first-time homebuyers and investors via foreclosure prevention academics and other courses. 66 R I B U T O R S » Dave Larsen has been licensed as a full-time Realtor in the state of California since 2000. He has won numerous awards for sales accomplishments and leadership within his office and within the RE/MAX International organization, including being ranked among the top 100 RE/MAX associates in the nation in 2009 and 2010. He has earned several designations pertaining to distressed properties, including the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and Certified Short Sale Professional (CSSP), and has completed more than 400 REO transactions over his career and maintains a 100 percent short sale approval rating.
