WipeOut allows users to permanently eliminate sensitive data that can be found on the hard drive of a server, PC, or laptop. WipeOut users are allowed access and the ability to remove information through a designated username and password. By utilizing the application, authorized users can avoid federal penalties for privacy violations by taking advantage of the proper data destruction tools that maintain a complete audit trail, which serves as proof steps were taken to eliminate data leaks. Due to the growing threat of identity theft and new federal regulatory requirements, Maryland-based IndiSoft says protecting consumer information is more important than ever. "Since we are working with hundreds of clients' sensitive information, such as tax returns and supporting documents, managing security is paramount to us," said Rajiv Mahajan, principal at the accounting firm Shalini Gupta and Associates. "This includes secured destruction of documents that are no longer required. WipeOut gives us peace of mind because we have a way of managing this critical aspect of document management and privacy." IndiSoft also completed the process to become a National Association of Information Destruction (NAID) member. NAID serves as an international trade association for companies that provide services to destroy sensitive information. 7.0% year-over-year change -21.1% 6.4% 3.5% 2.6% 6.6% year-over-year change -1.8% WashingTon CounTy Unemployment Rate year ago year-over-year change -3.5% Foreclosure Rate April 2013 STAT INSIGHT #6 Ranking of the Baltimore-Towson metro among top areas for institutional investors looking to purchase single-family rentals.
