51 PLANOMATIC LAUNCHES "WE ARE SFR" BRAND CAMPAIGN PlanOmatic, a provider of quality photos, floor plans, and 3D to the single-family rental (SFR) industry, has launched a new branding campaign around the concept of "WE ARE SFR." e campaign, launched with the release of a video, will feature new creative and content in both digital and print advertisements, email campaigns, social media editorial and advertisements, and strategic sponsored content with media partners. e campaign challenges current SFR industry stigmas in which companies are portrayed negatively as stealing homes from Americans. PlanOmatic's campaign aims to shed light on the critical role SFR companies play in providing quality, affordably priced housing in communities for all Americans, whether homeowners or renters. As the video highlights, the SFR industry is delivering a new supply of homes, offering consumers more room to grow, creating places to work, providing space to play, and redefining the American dream. "It's a pivotal time for the SFR industry with increased consumer demand for these homes today, yet there is this ongoing negative public narrative that SFR providers are the big bad wolves that are squeezing families and the American dream to own a home," said Kori Covrigaru, Founder and CEO of PlanOmatic. "e reality is that SFR companies are doing a lot for families and communities by providing shelter at a time when it's the most important, and by offering more space and flexibility. With our new campaign, we really wanted to highlight the vast supply of new homes the SFR industry is bringing to this country and how this is a benefit due to the current high demand." David Howard, Executive Director of the National Rental Housing Council (NRHC), stated in a recent open letter to members that, "the continuing development and maturation of the industry is about one thing—providing a viable source of stabilized long-term, single-family rental housing responsive to the needs and lifestyle preferences of today's housing consumer. To get there, the industry is becoming more accessible, more transparent, more consistent, and more relevant. And it's doing so by facilitating the advancement and sharing of institutional best practice." According to NRHC, member companies of the organization—which include most of the large owners in the industry—account for fewer than 300,000 properties. Currently, that represents just 0.2% of the 140 million housing units in the country. "e truth is that every shingle that's put on a roof, and every floorboard that is put in a house, is going to be someone's home," Covrigaru said. "at's ultimately what the SFR industry is doing. We are showing people home." Follow Us At: @DSNewsDaily Industry Updates
