As a result, iServe processes, methodologies, analytics, and technologies are designed to identify and manage the "risk" or "downside" of a portfolio. The result is reduced loss on the downside and increased profit on the upside. The risk management services provided by iServe Real Estate Operations extend to the lending side of the business as well with iServe Residential Lending, NAD's full-service retail mortgage lending subsidiary. With more than 35 branch offices in high-volume markets in 20 states, iServe Residential Lending continues to gain momentum and build on the reputation of quality and integrity its earned among peers and business partners—all this at a time when others are exiting the marketplace. The leverage gained from having associates of both the lending and real estate businesses aligned with the same culture yields service, analytics, and results that exceed industry standards and client expectations. COMPANY HISTORY: iServe Real Estate Operations was formed in November 2007 as the real estate disposition subsidiary for National Asset Direct, Inc. (NAD), a vertically integrated residential mortgage company with expertise in sub-performing, nonperforming, prime, performing, and bank-owned asset servicing, as well as distressed mortgage investing and mortgage origination. NAD and its subsidiaries, the iServe Companies, were created in 2006 to acquire and manage the successful remediation and resolution of high-risk, nonperforming whole loans. The principals of the NAD Companies are seasoned professionals, have extensive risk management backgrounds, and managed multi-billion-dollar mortgage and real estate portfolios prior to founding the NAD Companies. STRATEGY FOR 2014: With its results-oriented iServe Real Estate Operations and the proven track record of iServe Residential Lending, the company plans to broaden its base of services, strengthen its relationships with current clients, and identify new opportunities based on the evolving needs of the market and its clients base. On the real estate side of the business, iServe is looking not only to grow by adding new clientele but to cultivate partnerships with its existing client base. The company is also branching out into diversified service offerings, such as redemption portfolio management for investor clients, and positioning iServe as a full-service default management partner within the industry. In addition, the company remains focused on the origination side if its business, with plans to expand its retail loan operations through strategic partnerships and by growing its branch network system. Each iServe enterprise is a hedge against the other, as well as a point of leverage. The company is actively leveraging the local expertise of iServe Real Estate Operations' broker network to source new origination business for iServe Residential Lending and add successful branch offices in key markets to the company's retail branch system. iServe foresees growing demand for the services it offers through its family of companies. With recent increases in interest rates, the marketplace is experiencing a definitive shift—growth is slowing at large money market institutions and their focus is turning to mitigating operational risk and maximizing operational efficiencies. With their objectives changing from overflow to cost-cutting, banking institutions are realizing there's still a critical need for outsourcing, and iServe is well positioned to meet these needs of the evolving marketplace.
