(KMCIS), is a St. Louis, Missouri-based partnership between Wes Kozeny, Garry McCubbin, and Dan Cannon that was founded in 2004 to address an obvious need in the default servicing industry for a better case management system that was workflow driven, paperless, and retained the flexibility to process foreclosures in an ever-changing multi-jurisdictional environment. The company's collective technology, the CaseAware Suite, was developed in response to the need for a law firm case management system optimized for business process, workflow management, and integration to numerous external systems in the mortgage default industry. It was determined that a company be formed to productize and market CaseAware, which is the genesis of KMCIS. After Kozeny & McCubbin was used as the beta test site and after sufficient testing, maturity, and expansion, CaseAware was marketed to the default industry. This suite of software products is currently marketed to foreclosure trustees and law firms across the country that process foreclosures, bankruptcies, evictions, and other default-related matters on behalf of national mortgage servicers. Today, KMCIS operates out of St. Louis, with an existing client base of more than 100 CaseAware customers supporting over 8,000 users across the United States and Puerto Rico. The CaseAware product suite has become one of the most widely adopted case management systems across the country with a special emphasis on default processing. We have grown from approximately 15–20 employees to well over 450 during the last four years. CaseAware has enabled us to track the status of well over 100,000 active cases scattered over 13 states. It would have been impossible for us to do this without it. They have been instrumental in the delivery of our service to our clients. Because CaseAware does many things without having to have a programmer on staff, it has significantly reduced our IT operating costs and the level of effort needed to support the overall environment." —Lee»Jones,»Director of Information Technology, Morris|Hardwick|Schneider KMC INFORMATION SYSTEMS, L.C. 101 W.
