GOVERNMENT FORUM
The fifth annual Five Star Government Forum brought
together leaders in the mortgage servicing industries
with government representatives in a way that spurred
honest conversation, influencing policy and paving the
way for progress. This groundbreaking platform for open
dialogue saw the greatest minds in the business interact,
and engage, working together to shape the future of the
mortgage servicing industry. Leading mortgage servicers,
lenders, government agencies, regulators, lawmakers,
and service providers assembled at The Newseum in
Washington, D.C., on March 25, 2014. Thought leaders
included Edward J. DeMarco, the former acting director of
the Federal Housing Finance Agency, who delivered the
keynote; Randy Neugebauer (R-Texas), who presented a
Congressional update on pending legislation and agenda;
Theodore W. Tozer, president, Ginnie Mae; Allsion Brown,
program manager, Consumer Financial Protection
Buereau; Alan Jaffa, CEO of Safeguard Properties; and
Mark Palim, VP of Applied Economic and Housing
Research for Fannie Mae, who presented insightful GSE
updates, among other guests.
