Five Star Conference goers were treated to an evening "At
Home with the Bush Family" on Monday, September 15,
at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Former President George W.
Bush and his wife Laura were interviewed by their daughters,
Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush Hager, in a living room-type
setting before a packed house as they discussed such topics as
the president's new hobby of painting, President George H.W.
Bush, and what the family has been doing since the president
left office in January 2009. President Bush took the audience
through his actions on the day of 9/11 as he recalled the
moment he heard and his response to what transpired, and how
the nation came together during a troubling time.
