Five Star Conference goers packed the Chantilly Ballroom
of the Hilton Anatole Hotel on Tuesday, September 16, the
third day of the conference, for the 2014 Women in Housing
Leadership Summit to hear many women in real estate speak
on their career paths and obstacles they overcame to achieve
their status as industry leaders.
At the start of the event, J.K. Huey of Wells Fargo Home
Mortgage was presented with the 2014 Five Star Lifetime
Achievement Award. Speakers at the event included Jo Ann
Kruse, president and COO of Matt Martin Real Estate
Management; Ann orn, SVP, liquidation services at Bank of
America; Amy Brachio, partner at Ernst & Young; Margaret
Kelly, CEO of RE/MAX; and Kathy Ireland, CEO and chief
designer, Kathy Ireland Worldwide.
