Country music superstar Wynonna Judd provided a fitting
tribute to the U.S. military, and six mortgage-free homes
were presented to veterans on Monday, September 15, at the
Military Warriors Honors Banquet as part of the 2014 Five
Star Conference and Expo.
A performance by Judd, a longtime supporter of the
military, and her band capped off an inspiring event which
saw Five Star President and CEO Ed Delgado and retired
Lieutenant General Leroy Sisco present mortgage-free homes
to six wounded veterans through the Military Warriors Sup-
port Foundation. Each veteran received a standing ovation as
the homes were presented.
1. President Bush congratulates wounded veteran Samuel Brown on receiving
his new home. 2. Servicemen from all over the country were honored. 3. The
first family took the time to congratulate each veteran and thank them for their
service. 4. The banquet got started with a rousing set of popular anthems.
5. A gourmet meal was served to event attendees.
