AUCTION.COM WELCOMES NEW VP OF ENGINEERING California-based online real estate marketplace Auction.com has named Bin Xu as VP of engineering for the company's Silicon Valley office, according to an announcement from Auction.com. Xu's 20 years of experience in leading projects from inception to live operation include serving as VP of engineering for Acxiom Corporation (overseeing platform engineering) and Angie's List (overseeing member-facing products, experience development, quality assurance, and related technical operations). In his new role with Auction.com, Xu will lead the company's database and platform engineering teams. He will also oversee the technical aspects of the company's auction control center and bidder communications. Brewer will be entrusted to handle GRC's daily operations. GRC is a Utah-based real estate company that is solely owned by Clayton Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of Radian Group. GRC offers investors' single family rental strategies with pre- and post- acquisition services and surveillance programs. Brewer graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and also has more than a decade of default servicing experience. In her most recent position as VP of Collateral Based Solutions at Ocwen Loan Servicing, she was responsible for a team of more than 350 associates across multiple sites in both the U.S. and India. Her career began as a loss mitigation specialist at GMAC ResCap where she eventually became the VP of Liquidations. "Katie's experience in loss mitigation, regulatory compliance, REO management, and corporate strategizing will help us continue to expand and improve our offerings," Reilly said. SHAPIRO & ZIELKE AND FIRST FINANCIAL TITLE AGENCY OF MINNESOTA ANNOUNCE NEW HIRE Burnsville, Minnesota- based default servicing law firm Shapiro & Zielke, LLP and First Financial Title Agency of Minnesota, Inc. has announced the addition of attorney Tracy J. Halliday to its team. With nearly 10 years of practice in real estate law, including the last five years in the default servicing area, Halliday will be working with Shapiro & Zielke's default servicing accounts and as a title examiner for First Financial Title Agency of Minnesota, which is also based in Burnsville. Halliday is licensed to practice in the State and Federal Courts in Minnesota, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court of the Western District of Wisconsin.
