LENDERLIVE WELCOMES NEW SVP OF FINANCE Domestic-based, end- to-end mortgage services provider LenderLive has announced the hiring of Scott Banks as the new SVP of Finance, Mortgage Services. Banks has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industries. His previous roles include a series of executive positions with HSBC Bank, notably as director of Corporate Planning and Analysis, director of Group Reporting, and director of Capital Markets and Treasury Support for HSBC Mortgage Services. He most recently served as director of Financial Performance and Analysis of Discover Home Loans, the mortgage division of Discover Financial Services. He has also worked for Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation as VP of Finance/Investor Reporting. In the newly created position of SVP of Finance, Mortgage Services at LenderLive, Banks will oversee the firm's Investor Reporting Treasury and Bank Reconciliation functions. He will also be responsible for the development of budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and analyses to support new business initiatives and show return on investment, according to the firm's announcement. She has also worked with Union State Bank as Assistant General Counsel and as assistant corporation counsel for the New York City Law Department. "Liz is an innovative attorney with extensive knowledge and practical experience in consumer payments and lending, regulatory compliance, Bank Secrecy Act & Anti-Money Laundering matters, privacy, marketing, general corporate matters, and real estate law," Hogg said. PRO TECK ANNOUNCES TWO NEW INFORMATION SECURITY HIRES In an effort to enhance information security, Pro Teck Valuation Services announced Tuesday that the company has hired two new employees. According to a press release from Pro Teck, Luc Levensohn will fill the newly created position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), that is expected to better the company's information security programs. Levensohn has plenty of experience analyzing and assessing risk and building infrastructures for businesses that rely on data. Prior to his new postion, Levensohn held an IT and InfoSec leadership role with Pro Teck. In his new role, he will be responsible for securing Pro Teck's information. is will include strategic leadership of the organization's comprehensive information security program, managing a host of compliance requirements and evolving the goals, objectives and policies related to overall information security. "Pro Teck recognizes that Information and I look forward to working with CEO Cam Melchiorre to continue developing solutions that will help more people buy homes and sustain homeownership." Prior to CoreLogic, Schwartz led the HOPE NOW Alliance, a non-profit coalition created in 2007 to bring together mortgage companies and investors, Federal Reserve Banks, government agencies, and government-sponsored enterprises to help homeowners in distress stay in their homes. She was also a very public figure during the housing crisis, participating in interviews, face-to-face outreach events with distressed homeowners, and through congressional testimony at the Federal and State level. GUARDIAN MORTGAGE ADDS NEW SVP OF CORRESPONDENT LENDING Guardian Mortgage recently added Donna Greiner as SVP of Correspondent Lending in its Plano, Texas office. Greiner's mortgage career includes more than 25 years' experience in loan origination, affiliated business arrangements, multi-state lending, construction lending, and multi-state REO sales. Greiner expressed that she is thrilled to be part of Guardian Mortgage and enjoys "being associated with a company that consistently demonstrates high standards and a commitment to quality, service and reputation." She also noted that she intends to "provide the best customer service possible and by forming great relationships within the industry." LENDING.COM HIRES NEW GENERAL COUNSEL Lending.com, a lending- as-a-service platform, recently appointed Liz Verrier as General Counsel. According to the company, in her new role as Lending.com's Chief Legal Officer, she will provide legal guidance to their board of directors and upper-level management. In addition, Verrier will also oversee all legal and compliance matters for the company and will be a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
