He previously served as Federal Housing Commissioner at HUD from 2005-2009, including six months into the Obama Administration, and served as acting HUD Secretary in January 2009. Prior to his HUD service, Montgomery served as a Deputy Assistant to the President in the Administration of President George W. Bush from 2001-2005. FRANK E. NOTHAFT is the SVP and Chief Economist for CoreLogic. As Chief Economist, Nothaft leads the company's economics team, as well as its research and insights strategy. Nothaft earned his degree in mathematics and computer science from New York University and he holds a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University. JASON A.
