Positioning field inspectors to add to our "boots-on-the-ground" presence in high concentration areas and implementing an annual training seminar with our agents/ vendors will undoubtedly assist in meeting the challenges in the industry. In what ways have companies needed to respond and adapt to regulations in the past few years? Recent changes have required servicers to enhance/modify processes and procedures in order to be in compliance with the new regulations. For companies like Dakota, these changes have required increased FTE and additional technology enhancements. Both are necessary to ensure that operational efficiency is maintained as the additional work to support the more stringent vendor management rules and guidelines are added. Since these rules and guidelines ultimately push change all the way to the local network of vendors and real estate partners, we also invest a great deal of time and effort in communications with these partners. e largest impact is the financial ramification to remain in compliance. Ever-changing rules and regulations take time and resources that ultimately hit the bottom line. is impact is felt from top to bottom, and out to the local guy providing services in the field. e world has changed—it's more expensive to operate today and the demands are at an all-time high. Only the best will survive. What are the challenges of being a relatively new player in the REO asset services space? I've done this a few times and have learned that it's not about yesterday—it's about what you are doing today and tomorrow for your clients. Dakota has been able to balance our number-one objective of delivering the highest total net execution on every asset and providing first-class customer service, while remaining compliant. We have and continue to build technology tools enabling us to be more scalable, efficient, and transparent for our clients and vendors. e addition of field inspectors and a new coaching and training program for our real estate partners and vendors will continue to enable Dakota to be the first-choice provider of REO services to existing and future clients. To fuel that future growth, we're continually growing our base of investor, real estate, and construction partners. Fortunately, our reputation continues to open new doors of opportunity for these mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
