In 2004, I opened my own office--Maryland REO Realty. After our client forecloses on a property, it is assigned to us. We manage it during the ratification process at the courthouse, coordinate the eviction process, market, and sell it. Our goal is to maximize the sale price for our client. We have a staff of 11 people: three field inspectors, who visit all our properties every seven to 10 days; one initial BPO processor; one monthly report and updated BPO processor; one contract negotiator; one closer; two data input clerks; and two receptionists. Ranked No. 5 in Maryland for sales volume, I credit my success to my diligence to the banks I work for and consistent and creative productivity from staging my homes and drive- by BPOs to the settlement table.
