(QPWB), the largest minority and women-owned law firm in the U.S., announced that Dawn Berry would join the firm's Business, Financial Services & Real Estate Division as Portfolio Performance & Oversight Director. Within this role, Berry will work hand in hand with loan servicers and mortgage loan investors to ensure efficient handling of investors' loans and that the investors' goals and objectives are implemented and met. Berry comes to QPWB with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage-servicing field. Most recently, Berry worked at a national mortgage loan servicer and was responsible for the management of special servicing for multiple loan pools with various private mortgage investment funds. STERN & EISENBERG EXPANDS TEAM Stern & Eisenberg, a regional law firm servicing 10 states and the District of Columbia with a team of over 50 attorneys and 200 staff announced the hiring of Elizabeth Potter in the role of Business Development Director and the promotion of Angela Wilson to the role of Client Relations Manager. Potter and Wilson will serve critical functions in the firm's expanded Value Department, headed by Chief Value Officer Kathy Brady. Potter will spearhead the firm's business development across all practices, business lines, and regions stretching from New York to Georgia. PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS CHARMAINE BROWN TAPPED AS AMDC VICE CHAIR e American Mortgage Diversity Council (AMDC) has taken another step to promote inclusion with the recent addition of Charmaine Brown, Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Fannie Mae, to serve the council as Vice Chair. Partnering with Chair Kathy Cummings of Bank of America, Brown will assist with the implementation of an aggressive agenda for the AMDC this year, working to equip the industry with the education and advocacy tools needed for fostering an industry-wide culture of diversity and inclusion. "I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as Vice Chair of the AMDC with Kathy Cummings at such an extraordinary time in our industry," Brown said.
