Simon as its new President. In this role, Simon will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic execution of the cooperative. Simon joins Lenders One with more than 20 years' mortgage experience and has an extensive background in C-level leadership at large independent mortgage banks, including New Penn Financial, Caliber Funding, and Freedom Mortgage. "Brian brings deep industry experience to Lenders One as a seasoned mortgage banker and entrepreneur," said William B. Shepro, CEO at Altisource and member of the Board of Directors at Lenders One. "His vision and leadership in managing large mortgage organizations through economic cycles will help Lenders One leverage the power of its 230+ lender members and solution providers to compete and win." NON-PROFITS NCST ANNOUNCES JULIA GORDON AS PRESIDENT e National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST) announced that its board of directors has appointed Julia Gordon as President. Gordon said, "I am honored and excited to lead NCST. High- quality, well-rehabbed or maintained single- family homes can help neighborhoods become stronger and more economically vibrant through homeownership and locally owned, responsibly managed, affordable rental. By supporting the responsible disposition of foreclosed homes, assisting mission-focused single-family developers, and working with policymakers to ensure these properties and issues are not overlooked, NCST can make a significant difference for families and communities." Before coming to NCST, Gordon served as the Senior Director of Housing and Consumer Finance at the Center for American Progress, as well as working as the Single-Family Policy Manager at the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
