EXPOSURE SEEN ON THE SCENE THE FIVE STAR MPACT 2013 The 2nd annual MPact conference hosted by DS News' sister publication, MReport, and parent company, the Five Star Institute, drew some of the industry's foremost decision makers and thought leaders. Gathering at the new Omni Mandalay Hotel in the Las Colinas suburb of Dallas, Texas, on March 28, these mortgage heavyweights took advantage of the event's interactive, open forum concept to address today's most pressing challenges with their colleagues and peers. The collaborative, roundtable-style Mind Matters discussions confronted the regulatory landscape and compliance, credit and refinance policies, tools for managing data and risk, title and closing issues, and the state of valuations. Attendees were empowered by this year's innovative and interactive format—a design intended to give each and every participant a voice in shaping the evolution of their business, their future success, and their industry. 1. 2. 3. 1.
