Over the span of her career, she has held various management positions with increasing responsibility within the default servicing space for both forward and reverse mortgages, resulting in tenured knowledge of all facets of default servicing functions, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, investor and insurer claims, high-risk commercial and residential asset management, loss mitigation, property preservation, and REO. Before beginning her employment with Mr. Cooper, she served as the First VP of Default at Celink. Johnson-Seck has a passion for process reengineering and efficiently building of business cycles. She has successfully developed and implemented mortgage default strategies, policies, and procedures to balance effective credit loss strategies as well as process reengineered countless workflows to enhance efficiencies. She focuses on serving creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy law, as well as collections and defending creditors in claims under the FDCPA, FCRA, TILA, and RESPA. She is admitted to practice law in Alabama and Florida. SPEAKERS GRAHAM ARCENEAUX, Managing Attorney | Graham, Arceneaux & Allen, LLC Graham Arceneaux is the owner of Graham, Arceneaux, and Allen, LLC. Currently serving as President of Standard Title Agency, Inc., Arceneaux is a retired U.S. Army officer who served on active duty, as well as in the Louisiana Army National Guard. He graduated from Millsaps College in 1993, and received his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law as an Honors Graduate in 1997. ALICIA BYRD, Bankruptcy Operations Manager | Flagstar Bank, NA With over 13 years in the Bankruptcy industry, Alicia has recently joined Flagstar Bank as their Bankruptcy Operations Manager, expanding on her 20 years of experience in operational management. Beginning as a certified paralegal, she has used the knowledge gained in each position to build the skills necessary to succeed. With additional experience in commercial banking, Byrd has experience in large-scale, international level volume, while maintaining small-scale attention to detail. She is passionate about management and ways to improve management practices in the current professional climate, speaking and training on the topic as often as possible. MICHAEL DANIELS, Sr. Principal, Bankruptcy | Mr. Cooper Michael Daniels, Sr. Principal, Bankruptcy, marks 32 years in the bankruptcy industry this Spring. He's been with Mr. Cooper since 2012. Previously, he was the Closing Dept. Manager and a 341 Hearing Officer for the Dallas Texas Chapter 13 Trustee's Office for six years. His bankruptcy career began long ago having worked for several small firms that represented debtors in consumer bankruptcy cases with a brief interlude as a BK Dept. Supervisor at Associates Housing Finance between debtor firms. Having worked in these various areas of the bankruptcy industry provides him a uniquely well-rounded perspective on bankruptcy matters. TRACI LUCKHAUPT, VP Default Servicing | PHH Mortgage Traci Luckhaupt is the VP of Default Servicing at PHH/Ocwen. Her current role involves leading Default, Foreclosure, and Bankruptcy for both forward and reverse mortgage portfolios. She has over 28 years of mortgage default servicing with several large banks and third-party servicers. In 2021 she was a finalist for the Women in Housing Outstanding Leadership Award. Luckhaupt has a bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a master's degree from Northern Kentucky University in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change. BRIAN MCGARRY, Portfolio Servicing | Fannie Mae Brian McGarry has led teams in the mortgage industry for 29 years, with experience in multiple areas, including default servicing (bankruptcy, foreclosure, and loss mitigation), originations, quality control, risk management, and servicing operations. McGarry leads a team of mortgage professionals at Fannie Mae, helping clients achieve their goals by resolving their inquiries about Fannie Mae's guidelines, policies, and procedures. The inquiries require his team to provide insight and guidance to the GSE's Servicing Guide, to provide an impactful best practices approach, and often require additional training. He lives in Gunter, Texas; has been married for 28 years; and has three children.
